The volume documents the exhibition of the duo Prinz Gholam, composed of Wolfgang Prinz and Michel Gholam, held at the Mattatoio in Rome, as part of the program Dispositivi sensibili, conceived by Angel Moya Garcia and focused on the convergence between methods, aesthetics and practices of the visual arts and the performing arts.
In the project While Being Other the artists expand their research on the perception of the self and the body as cultural assumptions through performances, objects and large-scale drawings. The articulation of the project is configured as a choreography in continuous evolution in which a sequence of works, presences, movements, gestures and intervals of movements are conceived starting from specific cultural references and intertwined with each other through a multiplicity of masks that invade the exhibition space.
