The work created for the 2017 exhibition Sarkis. Angel Rainbow at Zachęta consists of 21 neon signs in rainbow colours (3 sequences of 7 colours). Neon signs are the hallmark of the artist, who uses light and text, for whom the context of place is also very important. At Zachęta, he invited women employees to work with him, and they selected and transcribed by hand phrases from a set prepared by the artist. Neon signs were made on their basis. Their concise form sometimes resembles a haiku, some of them are quotations from 20th-century French poetry, and the title of the installation also refers to lyricism.
