The main character of another video presentation in the Close-up on… series is Hans Mattis-Teutsch –   a Hungarian-Romanian painter, whose works from the 1950s are presented at the Cold Revolution exhibition. Szilárd Miklós presents the artist's profile.

Szilárd Miklós (b. 1981) is a visual artist and researcher. In his latest projects he investigates the historical legacy of 20th century authors from Romania, whose work was previously occulted due to emigration, or a regime change related to state socialism. These include exhibitions about the documentary filmmaker István Fischer, and the avant-garde artist János Matti-Teutsch. He was an active member of various non-profit organizations from Cluj and initiated a collaborative studio program and publishing platform called conset (www.conset.ro). Currently he is pursuing a DLA at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in Budapest and he is working as an assistant at the University of Arts Târgu-Mureș. In 2019 he joined the editorial team of IDEA arts+society magazine.

It includes over 400 works from six countries of the former Eastern Bloc: Poland, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary.
