double première of magazine Biuro
Zachęta – National Gallery of Art
free entry
To the sounds created by Kuba Suchar, Czarny Latawiec and visuals delivered by VJ Emiko, BWA Wrocław will present two most recent issues of its magazine titled Biuro (Office).
For several years now, BWA Wrocław (Contemporary Art Galleries) has been publishing Biuro, which is a magazine dedicated to contemporary visual culture, art, design and public space. The publication serves moreover as a two-dimensional, limited-edition exhibition space. The two most recent issues of Biuro were published spontaneously. One of them is devoted entirely to the city of Wrocław while the other revolves around a main theme that is skin, presenting all kinds of associations with it.
During the première, the guests will be given a chance to listen to a solo performance by a famous drummer, Kuba Suchar, as well as a new record by Czarny Latawiec, who has collaborated with VJ Emiko and prepared an audio-visual performance.

BWA Wrocław – Galleries of Contemporary Art
Being a cultural institution, BWA Wrocław has been actively dealing with organizing and presenting exhibitions of contemporary art since 1962. BWA Wrocław is also interested in interactions between art and other areas of life, as well as researching its meaning in the context of social life. There are four exhibition spaces located in Wrocław within BWA. BWA Wrocław organizes numerous regular events, such as, inter alia, Out of Sth, Teraz Dizajn!, Szafa Polska, Eugeniusz Geppert Competition, Dyplomy ASP Wrocław and Midnight Show held within T-Mobile Nowe Horyzonty. Since 2009, BWA Wrocław has been issuing the gallery's propaganda magazine titled Biuro [Office]. The editors are planning to maintain its utopian character, unveil the background of gallery life, back stages of various projects, comment on and present new phenomena without turning to violent “discourses”.
