Экскурсия по выставке Наталии Ромик «Тайники. Архитектура выживания» на русском

Выставка Наталии Ромик — это художественная дань архитектуре выживания, тайникам, построенным и использовавшимся евреями во время Холокоста. Они использовали дупла деревьев, шкафы, городскую канализацию, пещеры и пустые могилы, чтобы создать в них временное убежище. В выставочных залах Захенты представлены зеркальные слепки девяти тайников с территории Польши и Украины. Скульптурные формы сопровождаются выставкой, представляющей результаты междисциплинарных исследований, проведенных Наталией Ромик и Александрой Янус вместе с командой антропологов, историков, археологов и городских исследователей.

    Hideouts. The architecture of survival

    Natalia Romik’s exhibition is an artistic tribute to survival architecture, the hiding places built and used by Jews during the Holocaust. They used tree hollows, wardrobes, urban sewers, caves or empty graves to create temporary shelters.
