Loesje workshops involve writing short texts during a creative group process. Participants can offer topics to write about and this time our source of inspiration is the new exhibition, Tango on 16 square metres. We will discuss issues such as urban architecture, living conditions, space, design, past and present, personal and public, and other related topics.

No previous experience in writing is needed. It's all about the group dynamic, playing with words and associations. At the end of the session, the most inspiring and intriguing texts are chosen for the final editing. They are later layouted to create a new series of black and white posters signed by Loesje.
Loesje workshops promote creativity, freedom of expression, activism and critical attitude toward reality.

LOESJE ['luʃə]
Loesje is an open-minded Dutch girl and simultaneously a world wide collective of people who want to make the world a more positive and creative place.
Local Loesje groups write and spread minimalistic black and white posters with texts about everything that happens in society. Loesje texts are mostly positive and funny, and at the same time critical, wanting to stimulate the readers to see things from new perspectives.
Anyone is welcome to join creating new posters at the text writing workshops. International and local posters are published on www.loesje.org and made available for free downloads for any non-commercial use.

    Tango on 16 square metres

Tango on 16 square metres explores ways of intensifying space, meandering between past and present, Polish realities and global phenomena. The exhibition investigates precarious urban dwelling conditions and their architectural responses through the lense of Zbigniew Rybczyński’s Academy Award-winning short film Tango from 1980.
