Join us for a guided tour of Andrea Fraser's exhibition Art Must Hang, led by the artist herself - one of the most important figures in institutional criticism. This is a rare opportunity to hear first-hand about her working methods, artistic research and analysis of the mechanisms that govern the art world.
During the meeting, Fraser will introduce her performative interventions, texts and films, which for years have consistently explored the relationship between art institutions, economics and power. The artist will share her reflections on the relevance of art today and the challenges faced by artists and cultural institutions alike, and answer the key question - does art really need to hang?
This event not only provides an opportunity to learn more about Fraser's work behind the scenes, but also provides an opportunity for conversation and questions. Anyone interested in critical reflection on contemporary art and its social contexts is welcome!
