Работы польской художницы Терезы Гежинской (род. 1947), ранее неизвестной широкой публике, сегодня можно увидеть на большой монографической выставке. Художница экспериментирует с различными техниками и смешивает их, в основном исследуя те, что характерны для «малых форм»: фотографии, коллажа и графики. Гежинская рассматривает темы самовосприятия и телесности, объективированного образа женщины, созданного массовой культурой, и гендерных ролей в патриархальном обществе. Формат способствует размышлениям об интимности и приватной сфере.

    Women Live for Love
    Teresa Gierzyńska

    The artist explores the fringes of photography, using it as a record of her performative practice, and experiments with methods of its reproduction and processing. She introduces into art visual elements taken from mass culture and its techniques. The exhibition is built around the most important series: About Her and The Essence of Things.
