Экскурсия по выставке «Холодная революция» на русском языке

50-е года прошлого века в Восточно-Центральной Европе были временем
общественной революции и установления коммунистического режима. Выставка «Холодная революция. Общество Восточно-Центральной Европы и соцреализм, 1948–1959 гг.» представляет более 400 произведений из шести стран бывшего восточного блока: Польши, Чехословакии, ГДР, Болгарии, Румынии и Венгрии. Кураторы критически подходят к вопросу индустриализации, урбанизации, и других глубоких политических и социальных перемен и конфликтов. Соцреализм представлен как явление сложное и неоднозначное, которое не существовало лишь на уровне государственной пропаганды, а проникало во все сферы жизни и влияло на социальное (не)равенство, традиции, качество жизни, окружающую среду. Выставка включает в себя живопись, графику, скульптуру, архитектуру и кинематограф.

    Cold Revolution
    Central and Eastern European Societies in Times of Socialist Realism, 1948–1959

    The curators of the exhibition undertake a critical reflection on the changes taking place at that time, illustrating their scale and dynamics using visual material from the fields of painting, photography, film, design and architecture. It includes over 400 works from six countries of the former Eastern Bloc: Poland, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary.
