A linear composition made of thick electrical cable, coiled into a spiral and stretching along the entire length of the gallery, annexed the mod- est exhibition space. The interior was narrow and dark, and spotlights revealed the work as a glowing line in the darkness. Two smaller linear compositions, made of vertically arranged ping-pong balls and light in form, accompanied it, animating the entire arrangement and further intensifying its expression through light and shadows it cast. This open composition, typical of the environment format, allows the work to be experienced not only visually, but also spatially within a specially constructed architectural setting.
Edward Krasiński (1925–2004) – sculptor, performer, and installation artist, one of the key figures of the Polish post-war avant-garde. Since the 1960s, he developed works on the border of conceptual and spatial art, often using everyday objects and his signature blue tape. He was closely associated with the Foksal Gallery in Warsaw, where he created experimental, environment-based exhibitions.
