Piotr Bosacki
born in 1977 in Poznań, where he lives and works. Graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin Middle School of Music in Poznań and the Poznań Academy of Fine Arts (diploma 2004). Currently he lectures in the Intermedia Department at the University of Arts in Poznań. Member of the collectives Penerstwo and KOT. Author of animated films, objects, installations, drawings. He is also an author of musical compositions and literary texts. Affiliated with Stereo Gallery.

16.02 – 01.04.2013A Few Practical Ways To Prolong One’s LifeThe exhibition’s underlying concept has been inspired in large part by one of Julian Antonisz’s inventions: a portable device for creating non-camera animations. The easy-to-use, compact mechanism was meant to enable the viewer to react creatively to the ‘unreal reality’ surrounding them. The idea of developing a ‘portable non-camera workshop’ was also part of a larger, ambitious project aimed at effecting the viewer’s artistic mobilization through the popularization of amateur non-camera animation.
